This wedding day was a real challenge, even for an experienced wedding photographer. There was rain, snow and finally sunshine, but the weather didn’t stop Charlotte and Edward from having fun and enjoying their remarkable wedding day. The marriage ceremony was held at the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in the village of Titchmarsh. The reception took place in Polebrook, in a beautifully decorated marquee in the grounds of Polebrook House. I started the wedding photography with the bride and her bridesmaids and parents at Polebrook House. Her fiancé, Edward, was hanging out with his mates in the local pub in Titchmarsh. After an emotional ceremony the party began, in every sense of the word, with lots of dancing, and great entertainment delivered by Nicole Lawrence and her band.
Despite working for so many years as a wedding photographer, I haven’t seen such enthusiastic dancing before. The Bride spent all evening on the dance floor and so did other members of her family. Sometimes I regret not staying all evening with a married couple and their friends and this was no exception.. Their personality fitted in so well with my reportage wedding photography. Congratulations to them and I wish them a happy life together.
